From Saturday 2023-08-05 03:30 to 03:51 UTC, a subset of US customers experienced a series of interruptions in message delivery, message imports, and access to the app. This was due to a database maintenance that resulted in a database shard becoming unavailable for longer than anticipated.

What was the impact during this time period?

* The delivery of some outgoing messages were delayed.
* The imports of inbound messages were delayed. No imports were lost during this period.
* The app (desktop/web/mobile) was slow / inaccessible. Some teammates may have received a 503 "service unavailable" error message in their browser.
* Developer API requests may have received a 500/503 error.
